The Lazy Fish is a converted barn situated in the heart of the Northern Fells of the Lake District at the foot of Ling Fell, just 10 minutes drive from the popular market towns of Keswick and Cockermouth. The original features of the barn are complemented by the stylish contemporary interior. Eco-friendly underfloor heating warms the lofty space and there is the added bonus of a stunning central wood-burning stove. With 2 bedrooms, a shower wet room and a bathroom featuring a sumptuous Castello bath, the Lazy Fish is perfectly suited for groups or families and can accommodate 2 more on a separate mezzanine with sofa-bed. For slightly larger groups why not consider booking the Little Fish next door as well? Enjoy the private outdoor space with dining table and charcoal BBQ for those summer evenings.

Check in to The Lazy Fish and you’ll find everything you need for your stay with a superbly well-stocked kitchen, plus toiletries, linen and towels, and logs for the fire.

For the outdoor lovers there are walks from the doorstep, mountain biking, plus water sports on nearby lakes. If you want to browse the shops or indulge in good food then Cockermouth and Keswick offer a range of independent stores, pubs and restaurants.
